Systematics Diversity of Medicinal Plants and Conservation status along high altitudinal gradient in Western Himalayas
Project summary:
The present research work will be conducted for the first time to explore and discover the systematics of wild medicinal flora from Kashmir western Himalaya which will lead great contributions to flora at both nationally and internationally. The proposed project will examine the taxonomic usefulness of the seed, pollen and anatomical features. Collection will be carried from various areas of Kashmir Himalaya. The conservation status of wild medicinal and endemic plants will be assessed at a regional scale for the conservation of important medicinal flora in Kashmir.
