Taxonomic Revision of the genus Heptapleurum Gaertn. (Araliaceae) in India
Project summary:
The genus Heptapleurum is considered as “taxonomic impediment” due to its morphological similarity, nomenclatural issues and unclear generic boundaries. I intend to investigate systematic study of genus Heptapleurum in India, from literature, herbaria as well as field data concerning this genus with support of molecular analysis and its phylogenetic relationship.
