Coralloid Fungi of Costa Rica: new molecular data and typification of some species

Project summary:

Coralloid fungi exhibit diverse morphologies and ecological roles. My research at the University of Costa Rica aims to expand knowledge on their taxonomy, diversity, and phylogeny through molecular analysis of neotropical specimens. This study will generate essential genetic data, aiding classification and conservation efforts, while supporting taxonomic revisions and scientific publications.
