This study aims at evaluating threats to the survival and taxonomic divergence of the genus Echinops L. in Cameroon. This shall consist of evaluating challenges to the survival and genetic diversity of the genus for a possible taxonomic revision. Phylogenetic relationship between members of this genus shall be reviewed.
