Diversity and distribution of Andean Megalastrum in Ecuador

Project summary:

The project aims to study the fern genus Megalastrum in Ecuador, the country with the highest richness within the genus, by increasing fieldwork sampling and reviewing herbaria specimens. Besides incorporation of more recent collections, new genomic data will be obtained through the sequencing of species not previously studied.
