Taxonomic revision, phylogeny, and morphological character evolution of the genus Henckelia Spreng. (Gesneriaceae) in India

Project summary:

The proposed study aims to conduct a comprehensive taxonomic revision, molecular phylogeny, and morphological character evolution of Henckelia species in India. The work is critical to infer the phylogenetic relationships, character evolution, divergence, dispersal, speciation, and species delineation of Henckelia species and new insight to the poorly understood old-world gesneriads.
