NGS phylogeny and taxonomy of the genus Myricaria

Project summary:

Myricaria (family Tamaricaceae) is an ecologically important genus in montane riparian regions across Eurasia. A molecular phylogeny of will be generated from NGS sequencing using Angiosperms 353 on herbarium specimens. NGS data and morphology will be used for a taxonomic revision and a biogeographical reconstruction.
