Phylogenetic Systematics and Species Delimitation in Pseudolaelia Porto &
Brade (Laeliinae, Epidendroideae, Orchidaceae): Clarifying Evolutionary Relationships within
the Subtribe.

Project summary:

This project aims to resolve phylogenetic relationships within Pseudolaelia (Orchidaceae: Laeliinae) using RAD-Seq data. Field expeditions to Espírito Santo, Brazil, will collect samples for morphological and molecular analyses. The study will clarify species boundaries, inform conservation efforts, and enhance understanding of Laeliinae evolution, addressing taxonomic uncertainties within this endemic genus.
