Project summary:
The goal of this proposal is to investigate the phylogenetic relationships and species delimitation in the Scleria sect. Hymenolytrum (Cyperaceae) clade, using molecular and morphological data. A taxonomic investigation will also be conducted in order to understand the biodiversity and provide the first complete revision of this group.
