This project aims to produce a phylogenomic, biogeographic and taxonomic study of Trichanthecium, a genus of Poaceae distributed in tropical areas of Africa and America. The genus exhibits a high level of endemism in the central Brazilian Plateau and the Guiana shield, two threatened regions with evidence of interconnection.
