Systematics, genetic diversity, and spatial genetic structure of semi-domesticated underutilized Mucuna pruriens (Fabaceae) in Sumatra, Indonesia

Project summary:

Velvet bean is one of the food and medicinal plants that has not been optimally utilized and is taxonomically problematic. This study aims to evaluate the systematics (through herbarium observations and field exploration) and population genetics (through sequencing techniques) of M. pruriens in Indonesia, especially on the island of Sumatra.
