Although the tribe Cestreae is recognized as a monophyletic lineage, phylogenetic relationships within the group remain poorly resolved. This project integrates fieldwork, herbarium research, cytogenetics, and phylogenomics to improve taxonomic resolution and understanding of chromosomal evolution in Cestreae.
