A multidisciplinary research to confront the current paradigm of low representativity of ectomycorrhizae in the Neotropics. Some of the questions to be addressed are: what is the richness of ECM in a region of the Atlantic Forest? Which are the fungi and plants symbionts? Do these ECM present a new morphology?
