Systematics and Biogeography of the Subtribe Ditaxinae (Euphorbiaceae)
Project summary:
Ditaxinae is composed of five genera and 130 species, with greater Neotropical diversity. Recent molecular studies have demonstrated that Ditaxinae forms an artificial group; however, the sampling is insufficient to obtain conclusive results. In this way, the origin and biogeographic history also remain misunderstood until the present.
