A phylogeny and new classification for Thymelaeoideae (Thymelaeaceae): A final resolution to the problem of polyphyly in Gnidia L.

Project summary:

The polyphyletic nature of the genus Gnidia posed a challenge to the taxonomists for a long time. But an inadequate sampling of Gnidia in the Thymelaeaceae phylogeny hindered a final resolution. The proposed research aims to resolve Gnidia's classification issues through comprehensive sampling and phylogenetic analysis integrating morphological data
