Status quo Assessment and habitat distribution modeling of threatened monotypic Angiosperm genera in Northeastern India
Project summary:
Monotypic Angiosperm taxa (MAT) should be emphasized for conservation. Recent report of MAT in India including Northeast India, a part of Indo Burma hotspot bearing 50% of endemic flora of India shows distribution of several threatened MAT including Cr species. The project will assess distribution and prescribe model for ex-situ conservation.
