Sedges of Western Patagonia: exploring one of the last limits of the cold realms
Project summary:
This project investigates the Carex genus in Chilean Patagonia's Aysen and Magallanes poorly studied regions. It aims to address taxonomic, systematic, and ecological gaps, combining herbarium revisions and fieldwork in collaboration with local botanists. We will gather and publish new ecological, conservation, and chorological data, through Cyperaceae.org and specialized journals.
