Exploring Endemism through a Permanent Forest Dynamics Plot at the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia
Project summary:
At the isolated forest of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, we will set up a permanent 1-hectare forest dynamics plot to study plant communities. Given the scarcity of sampling in the area and the high rates of endemism, we expect to expand species ranges and find species new to science.
