What do wood and bark anatomy tell us about Gnaphalieae systematics? A case study of Australian Gnaphaliinae
Project summary:
A comparative anatomical analysis of most of the genera from Australian Gnaphaliinae clades will enable to infer the importance of wood and bark features in the Gnaphalieae systematics. I will test whether the wood and bark characters support latest molecular-based phylogeny or illuminate it with new conclusions.
