Following in Ridley’s footsteps: taxonomy and nomenclature of the neglected genus Curculigo (Hypoxidacae) in Peninsular Malaysia

Project summary:

This study aims to elucidate the taxonomic identity of two Curculigo taxa described by Henry Nicholas Ridley from Peninsular Malaysia and to compare them with Curculigo latifolia s. str. from the type locality using an integrative approach. Revisiting type localities, together with morphological and molecular analyses, will clarify species delimitation and advance the taxonomy of this long-neglected genus.
