The Infrageneric Relationship Among Sumatran Bamboos (Schizostachyum spp.) Based on Nuclear and Chloroplast DNA Marker
Project summary:
This study aims to ensure accurate identification and investigate the infrageneric relationship of Schizostachyum. The molecular work will be conducted from June to July 2023 using samples that had been collected during a former field trip. This work will be done in the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Perak – Malaysia, with collaboration with Dr. Goh Wei Lim. In addition, a herbarium visit will be done in Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia. This IAPT Research Grant will be support all the molecular works and herbarium visit at Malaysia.
