An Integrated Taxonomic Revision of Ixora L. (Rubiaceae) in India: Combining Morphological, Palynological and Molecular Approaches
Project summary:
The proposed study is the applicants Ph.D. project and aims to revise the genus Ixora L. in India, integrating morphological, palynological and molecular studies. The current proposal to IAPT would enable the applicant to visit herbaria in the UK – K, BM and E to access their historical Indian collections, resolve nomenclatural problems, confirm species identity and interact with nomenclature specialists.
