Herbarium study for taxonomic revision of African Monotoideae (Dipterocarpaceae)
Project summary:
This project addresses long-standing taxonomic uncertainties of subfamily Monotoideae using integrative taxonomic approach. Herbarium studies will be conducted at YBI and LUAI herbaria to integrate morphological with hands-on palynological and molecular data to produce a robust taxonomic revision, build local expertise and establish collaboration for the conservation of African Monotoideae.
