Plant diversification in arid environments: a biogeographical and macroevolutionary approach in Inuleae Cass. (Asteraceae, Asteroideae).
Project summary:
Inuleae (Asteraceae) represents a model for testing hypotheses related to diversification in arid ecosystems. By analyzing evolutionary history, geographic distribution and phylogenetic correlations with environmental factors, it will bring insights into biodiversity responses to rising temperatures and aridification. Providing a tool for biodiversity conservation.
