Systematics, biogeography and character evolution of Persea (Lauraceae) in the Indian subcontinent
Project summary:
his project aims to study the complex systematics, character evolution, and well-resolved species phylogenies to test hypotheses related to origin and evolution of the Persea (Lauraceae) group in the Indian subcontinent. The designed study will be carried out using plant-based taxonomic methods, micro-morphological observations, and a multilocus phylogeny.
