Taxonomic Revision of Pentaphylacaceae Engl. for Brazil.
Project summary:
In Brazil, Pentaphylacaceae is represented by two genera, Ternstroemia and Freziera, ~ 21 species, 13 endemic. The family is little study in the country, although many species occour in threatened areas by fire and agriculture. The present work aims to carry out the Taxonomic Revision of the family to Brazil.

Brazil Flora 2020: This new project icludes provisions to include descriptions, identification keys and illustrations to all species of plants, algae and fungi known in the country. The Brazilian Flora 2020 project is part of the Reflora Programme and is being conducted with the support of the Sistema de Informação sobre a Biodiversidade Brasileira (SiBBr).
Taxonomic Revision of Pentaphylcaceae to Brazil (Masters - under construction): The study provides the nomenclatural review for taxa and collaborate with the Flora do Brasil 2020 project, providing descriptions, distribution maps, identification keys and new species’ descriptions.
