Project summary:
This proposal has as its main objective to obtain DNA samples to test the monophyly of four genera of the Stilpnopappus Alliance, in addition to providing a taxonomic review of the five genera of this alliance. It also seeks to investigate the evolution of the pappus and conduct a biogeographic study to understand the distribution of the species.
