Cinnamomum is an economically important genus for Papuasia. This research aims to improve the botanical knowledge from fertile collections and DNA samples prepared using standard field collection methods. Data analysis methods for taxonomic revision of Cinnamomum will include morphological and molecular phylogenetic approaches if necessary to confirm a new species.
