A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE SYSTEMATICS, EVOLUTION, AND BIOGEOGRAPHY OF CROTON SECT. LAMPROCROTON: A PRIMARILY SOUTHERN NEOTROPICAL LINEAGE.

Project summary:

We aim to perform a taxonomic revision of C. sect. Lamprocroton, integrating morphological, anatomical, ecological, geographic, and phylogenetic evidence to understand species relationships, the spatio-temporal evolution of this group, and to be used as a framework for morphological evolution and finally, to shed light on the taxonomy of species complexes.
