Towards a comprehensive approach to understanding molecular systematics, evolutionary history, and character evolution of Indian Musaceae
Project summary:
The proposed study focuses on the molecular systematics, character evolution, biogeographic origin and evolution of Indian wild bananas based on multilocus phylogeny. This study helps to resolve the prevailing taxonomy problem in Indian Musaceae and upgrade the resolution of Global Musaceae phylogeny.
