Project summary:
The project aims to contribute to the understanding of the phylogenetic relationships between the genera of the tribe Gouanieae and the species of Gouania, to describe new species, and to present the most extensive taxonomic revision for the South American species of the genus, including dichotomous key, descriptions, plates, distribution maps and conservation status analysis for each species.
