Phylogenomics and morphological evolution of a neotropical montane genus: Actinocephalus (Körn.) Sano (Eriocaulaceae)
Project summary:
This project aims to test the new classification of Eriocaulaceae through phylogenomic analyses using the Angiosperms353 kit, focusing on Actinocephalus and its sister clade (Coracoralina and Floralia), and to produce a taxonomic synopsis of Actinocephalus. The grant will be used to support visits to herbaria in the United States.
