Araliaceae diversification through geographical, temporal and evolutionary scales.
Project summary:
To explore the evolutionary history of the “Asian Palmate Group (AsPG)” of the ginseng
family (Araliaceae). Nuclear and chloroplast phylogenies will be obtained using next
generation sequencing (Hyb-Seq) and influence of niche differentiation on the AsPG
evolution will be studied through integrative analyses of climatic, functional and
phylogenomic data.
