Systematic and Integrative taxonomy of the recently reestablished neotropical genus Lucuma Molina (Sapotaceae)
Project summary:
This proposal is part of a PhD thesis project that aims to clarify the interspecific relationships of Lucuma by investigating its evolutionary relationships. Visits to the main Colombian herbaria as well as carrying out expeditions to sample species from Colombia will help provide the first taxonomic review for the genus.
