Ichthyothere Mart. (Asteraceae: Millerieae) is a taxonomically complex Neotropical genus whose species limits and phylogenetic relationships remain poorly resolved. This project applies an integrative approach using molecular, morphological, and cypselae anatomical data to test monophyly, revise species delimitation, and update the genus’s taxonomy and distribution.
