This project aims to investigate the diversity of subtribes Chrestinae, Lychnophorinae, and Vernoniinae (Vernonieae, Asteraceae) in the Cerrado dominion. Field work, herbarium survey, and morphological analyses will improve taxonomy at a regional scale.
