The role of floral variation and biogeographic patterns on the evolution of Eperua s.l. clade (Leguminosae, Detarioideae)
Project summary:
Our primary goal is to reconstruct a phylogeny of the Eperua s.l. clade through a phylogenomic approach. With the resulting phylogeny, we aim to reconstruct the biogeographic history of the clade and to map the inflorescence structure to show how this character, associated with different pollinator syndromes, evolved.
