Professor / Associate Professor in Plant Systematic (Plant Taxonomy)
Kuwait University in State of Kuwait is offering a faculty member position in Plant Systematic in the Department of Biological Sciences.
Brief Description:
The faculty members are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Also, to supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
Participate in committee(s) and other activities of the department.
Build an independent research program, which complements and enhances ongoing research activities in the field and leads to publication and external funding, as well as to provide service to the department, the college, the university, and the community.
Examples of undergraduate courses such as: Biology 2 (introduction to Plant Kingdom), Principles of Plant Taxonomy, Advance Plant Taxonomy, and graduate course in Plant Taxonomy.
Kuwait University also has a large Herbarium unit for flora of Kuwait.
