International Botanical Congress Madrid 2024
Earlier this year it was announced that due to the pandemic the next International Botanical Congress will be delayed one year and held in Madrid, Spain in July 2024. The dates for the rescheduled Botanical Congress are as follows:

The officers of the IBC Organizing Committee are Gonzalo Nieto Feliner (President), Juan Carlos Moreno (Vice-President) and Marcial Escudero (Secretary General). The organizing team has been working hard to form the necessary planning committees, hire the conference venue and conference management team, and prepare a website to provide details on the upcoming Congress. More information will be available soon on the Congress website (https://ibcmadrid2024.com/).
Taxon will close for proposals to amend the Code on 31 March 2023, i.e., one year later than originally scheduled (see Turland & Wiersema in Taxon 68: 1372–1373. 2019). Late submissions received by 30 June 2023 may be accepted at the editors’ discretion if no reviewing or major editing is necessary.
The organizers anticipate a successful and productive IBC in Madrid in 2024, and welcome all to attend.
