Grant results announced!

IAPT is pleased to announce the results of our 2026 Research and Small Collections grant rounds. Thank you to everyone who applied, and to the chair and members of the review committees who worked diligently to assess all the applications against the criteria.

We received 119 applications for Research Grants and are delighted to be able to fund 19 of these for a total amount of 37,186 USD. This will directly support innovative research in systematics, nomenclature, and floristics of algae, fungi, and plants.

We received 56 applications for Small Collections Grants and are delighted to be able to fund 8 of these for a total amount of 22,680 USD. This will contribute to improving and maintaining biological collections of fewer than 100 000 specimens in seven countries around the world.
