IAPT Webinar Celebrating the International Day of Climate Action and World Sustainability Day – October 22, 2025
We are pleased to announce the second IAPT webinar of 2025, organized in celebration of the International Day of Climate Action and World Sustainability Day! This session will focus on how to utilize online resources to enhance the practice of taxonomy.

This session will feature four invited speakers who will each present a 10-12 minute talk, followed by a Q&A session to foster discussion:

Dr. Mauricio Bonifacino: The Global Compositae Database.
Drs. Pedro Jimenez-Mejias & Isabel Larridon: Tackling the taxonomic impediment in sedges: opportunities and challenges building a taxonomic aggregator.
