Taxon is now available through Wiley!
On 1 January 2019 Taxon moved to John Wiley & Sons as the publisher for our journal. Access to Taxon is now provided through Wiley. The journal web page is here https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/19968175, but note that member access is through the IAPT web page (see below).
Taxon content that was previously provided by Ingenta (2002-present) has been moved to Wiley. Older content that is on JSTOR is still available there. We are currently working on making the link to JSTOR content easier to access. More news on this soon. Also, in the near future all older content will be rescanned and made available on the Wiley Taxon page.
If your library subscribes to Taxon please be sure that your serials librarian is aware of the move to Wiley (and the need to renew the subscription for 2019 through Wiley).
Member Access: If you are a member of IAPT you can access Taxon through the member-only section of the IAPT website. To gain access to the members-only area it is necessary to register by providing your email address (ideally the email address that you have on file with IAPT to receive messages from us) and the password of your choosing. Note, previously your Member Number was used as your password, but this is no longer required. You may use your member number as your password, but it is not required. If you wish you may use a password that is more convenient to you.
After submitting your registration information it will be checked by the IAPT office staff and you will receive a response. Once you are registered it is a simple matter of logging in using your email address and password. After you are logged in you can access Taxon using the link on the left side of the IAPT home page.
Instructions for members to register with IAPT so they can access the member-only content:
Select the “Log In” link on the IAPT website (https://www.iaptglobal.org/, link is at the top right).
Next select “Sign up” and then “Sign up with email”. Enter your email address and preferred password and click “Go”
Your details will be sent to the IAPT office. After confirmation of your membership you will hear back from the IAPT office.
An email about the need to register will be sent to members later this week. If you are a member but do not receive it please let us know!
