IAPT membership renewal
Dear colleagues,
It is annual membership renewal season at the International Association for Plant Taxonomy! If you are a current member your 2022 membership will expire on December 31st (except for Life members). Renew now for 2023 to continue enjoying the benefits of membership, and to continue supporting IAPT.
New for 2023- IAPT has established a new discounted Postdoc membership category! If you are a postdoc please take advantage of this new discounted rate. Our goal is to keep postdocs engaged with IAPT as they seek permanent positions in the field. If you have a postdoc in your lab please advise them of this new membership category, or perhaps consider sponsoring a membership.
If you are not yet an IAPT member or if you have let your membership lapse, I encourage you to join or rejoin as a member to support IAPT in serving the global plant systematics community. Please join now for 2023.
IAPT supports research on the taxonomy and systematics of plants, fungi, and algae. We support the governance of our system of nomenclature and publication of the Code. We publish the journal Taxon, which is the leading international journal in our field, and books on a wide range of topics. We give grants for research and collections improvements. In addition to the 34 research and collections grants awarded in 2022 we are currently evaluating proposals for our exciting new IAPT Biodiversity Challenge competition. We organize and host international symposia and workshops. And we give prestigious awards to recognize accomplishments in our field. Your membership support helps us accomplish these important activities. Please join IAPT and help us help our community.

Instructions: Select the membership category that you wish to purchase and click “Add to Cart”. You may then select “add another membership” for example to add a spouse/partner, or select Sponsor a member”. After selecting the membership(s) that you wish to purchase click “confirm and pay”. After selecting Confirm and Pay you will be presented with two payment options (pay now, PayPal). Select the one you wish to use. If you wish to use a credit card select “Pay Now”. On the next screen you will select Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, or Manual Payment.
After you have paid a confirmation page will direct you to a document with instructions for completing the final step. You should also receive this as an email message. Please follow the link to the document and enter your details to complete your membership renewal and/or sponsorship
