University of Chicago Press to publish Regnum Vegetabile volumes

The International Association for Plant Taxonomy (IAPT) is pleased to announce that we have signed a contract with the University of Chicago Press to publish future volumes of the Regnum Vegetabile series, including The International Code of Nomenclature for Algae, Fungi, and Plants. The Press brings excellence in publishing together with an exceptional marketing program. As one of the oldest and largest university presses in the United States, the Press has published more than eleven thousand books since its 1890 founding and has more than five thousand books in print. The Press’s Chicago Distribution Services (CDS) provides publishers with quality services that enable global access to their publications, including in electronic formats. The Press has a long history of publishing botanical titles, including many by IAPT members, and has a strong current portfolio of botany books, so they are an excellent fit for IAPT and the Regnum Vegetabile series.
